Corn Casserole
This is a must recipe to add to your collection. It is so easy and quick to make and it is sooo delicious! You will Wow! everyone when you serve it.
1 cup of butter
2/3 cup of flour
3 cups of milk
2 Tbs sugar
1 bag of frozen corn (I only use Green Giant Peaches and Cream. I tried other brands and the results were not as good.)
Pepper to taste optional
Melt butter in sauce pan.
Add flour, mix well but do not brown.
Add milk slowly stirring over heat until mixture has thickened and starts to bubble.
Add sugar and pepper. Stir in.
Add frozen corn and pour into large casserole dish.
Crush about half a sleeve of crackers and sprinkle on top.
Dab with butter all over.
Bake at 350 F for 20-30 minutes or until brown on top and bubbling on the sides.
