Orphan Animal Formula
This formula was given to me by a friend who is a veterinarian when my dog had her first litter of puppies. We had two runts that were too small to suck and I had to feed them.

DO NOT CHANGE PROPORTIONS
1 can evaporated milk
2 cans boiling water (use milk can to measure)
2 envelopes of Knox gelatin
1 Tbs. honey
1 Tbs. heavy cream

Dissolve gelatin in hot water. Mix in all other ingredients. Mixture will resemble custard when cool but turn to liquid when warm.

Feed according to veterinarian's instructions.
